Celebrate Eid ul Fitr - According to the Islamic basis of Qur’an and Sunnah

According to science (http://moonsighting.com/1432shw.html), “The Astronomical New Moon is on 29 August 2011 (Monday) at 3:04 UT. On 29 August it can not be seen anywhere in the world, except Southern part of South America and Polynesian Islands. On Tuesday, 30 August 2011, it can be easily seen everywhere except Northern Asia and Northern Europe (See visibility curves)”. It means there is no remote possibility to see moon of Shawwal in Saudi Arabia on 29 August 2011 OR at any other place in the Middle East, Asia, North America, Africa, etc… Lets read what Islam says about fasting and Eid as Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) commanded, "Do not fast unless you sight the crescent, and do not break your fast till you sight the (following) crescent.” (Al-Bukhari, Vol. 3:130). Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "See the moon and commence fasting and see the moon and end fasting and if the skies are overcast, then complete the counting of thirty (days)." (Sahih Bukhari) Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) reported, I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, "When you see the crescent (of the month of Ramadan), start fasting, and when you see the crescent (of the month of Shawwal), stop fasting; and if the sky is overcast (and you can't see It) then regard the crescent (month) of Ramadan (as of 30 days, in other words complete 30 days)". (Sahih Bukhari) Abdullah bin Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The month (can be) 29 nights (i.e. days), and do not fast till you see the moon, and if the sky is overcast, then complete Sha'ban as thirty days." (Sahih Bukhari) Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Start fasting on seeing the crescent (of Ramadan), and give up fasting on seeing the crescent (of Shawwal), and if the sky is overcast (and you cannot see it), complete thirty days of Sha'ban." (Sahih Bukhari) Huzayfah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Do not fast (for Ramadan) before the coming of the month until you sight the moon or complete the number (of thirty days); then fast until you sight the moon or complete the number (of thirty days). (Abu Dawood) Let’s see what ISNA (FCNA) has already decided, “The Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA) recognizes astronomical calculation as an acceptable Shar'i method for determining the beginning of Lunar months including the months of Ramadan and Shawwal. FCNA uses Makkah al-Mukarram as a conventional point and takes the position that the conjunction must take place before sunset in Makkah and moon must set after sunset in Makkah. On the basis of this method, the dates of Ramadan and Eidul Fitr for the year 1432 AH are established as follows: The first of Ramadan started on Monday, 1 August 2011 and Insha-Allah Eid ul-Fitr will be on Tuesday, 30 August 2011. Science says it will be impossible to see moon on August 29, 2011 in Makkah and the rest of the world except the southern most tip of South America. Saudi government also claims that they declare Ramadan and Eid based upon the moon-sighting of local Saudi witnesses. On what basis ISNA (FCNA) has announced Eid ul Fitr on Tuesday, August 30, 2011? Is this not a clear violation of Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) guidance? Since when Southern most tip of South America became our reference point? These guys are openly undermining the Islamic Shari’a and playing with it as it pleases them. These guys are doing with Islam what Muslims blame Christians and Jews did with their religions. Shuwwahl 1432 A.H. Those dedicated people, who take the trouble to study the signs of Lord Almighty(swt) in the sky indicate that the Shuwwahl Helaal is not expected to be seen anywhere in Asia, Africa, Europe or N. America on the evening of Monday Aug. 29, 2011.The only exception being the far South Western parts of South America. On Tuesday Aug. 30, 2011 it is to be seen, in many countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas. Consequently Eidulfitr will be on Wednesday Aug. 31, 2011 in all the countries of Asia, Africa, Europe and N. America, by the design and will of Lord Almighty(swt). www.moonsighting.com and www.icoproject.org are utterly wonderful facilities for the Muslims the world over. These have been providing absolutely trustworthy Shahahdah i.e. eye witness account of crescent observation from across the world, every month since the last 16 years. The Shahahdah shown on the above websites are indeed, the commands of Lord Almighty(swt). Every faithful Muslim obeys no one but Him. Taferqah among Muslim Ummah, comes when some people calling themselves Muslims give more importance to the words of their Malah or to the stories than to the words of Lord Almighty (swt). Other websites of interest are: www.hilalsighting.org and http://Qasweb.org/newcrescents.htm (Fil lesahn ul Arabia) Sighting possibility for Helaal for Shuwwahl 1432 A.H. in Makkah. The following is the forecast of Helaal sighting possibility in Makkah as given by H.M. Nautical Almanac Office, an associate of the Royal Observatory at Greenwich. S.E. London. Reproduced here with their kind permission. Times are in Standard Time = GMT + 03h 00 Time of Moon at Sunset Time of Sunset Age of moon Alt El Moonset Lag time Moon status. Day Date h m h m o o h m m Mon Aug 29 18 40 12 36 0 9 18 44 4 Not visible at all. Tue Aug 30 18 39 36 35 10 22 19 27 48 Readily visible. Altitude (Alt) is the angle of moon's separation from the Earth's surface (minimum required: 6 deg). Elongation (El) is the angle of moon's separation from the Sun (minimum required: 10 deg). Lag time, is time it will take moon to set after sunset. Age of moon (minimum required is around 18 hours). The Muslim Ummah are urged to get into the habit of relying on the most authentic Shahahdah obtained through the websites mentioned below, thus show obedience to Allah's edict "Walah taferruqoo". Those living in the northern areas of the world should embrace the Shahahdah of observation from the southern areas and those living in the southern areas of the world from the north, as it happens, that the Helaal may be seen in the north for a few months and then in the south in other months of the year. The Shahahdah from across the world will be available to see on: www.moonsighting.com/1432shw.html and www.icoproject.org/icop/shw32.html in due course of time. The lesson learned from fasting: Continuing the new routine, after Rumadahn by keeping mid day food intake to a bare minimum will be a very good idea taking lesson from the advantages of fasting learned during Rumadahn. The lesson learned is that by cutting off mid day intake the digestive system gets some rest hence its efficiency is improved by the time it is time to eat again in the evening. Feasting on the last day of Ramadan: This ritual and “Festival” is organised in Arabia every now and then, if not always. One case history among the many is that on Saturday Nov. 13, 2004 when the Muslims of the entire world were observing constraints of Ramadan, the Saudees, the Sudanese and possibly the Somalis were feasting on this day. Why? Because of the innovation i.e. Bidah of the government officials in Riyadh. Bidah is to use a home grown formula for producing Helaal from under the hat by just announcing the advent of the new month without anyone seeing the Helaal in Arabia or in any country around Arabia. The reason for this exercise, in all probability is to achieve what Lord Almighty has not designed i.e. to organise Eid on one day all over the world without the will and design of the Lord. The effect and result of this exercise achieves the opposite i.e taferqah among the Ummah. Last Eiduladha was on Wednesday all over the world, as per the will and designs of Lord Almighty, but those in Riyadh, Ankara and some other countries defied the Lord and created taferqah by committing the transgression of artificially calling the 8th day of Dhulhijjah to be the 9th. Monday was the 8th day East, West, North and South of Arabia, yet it was called 9th day only in Arabia. The Moroccans a few thousand miles West of Arabia and all those who obey the Lord by what He shows in the sky celebrated Eiduladha on Wednesday. Do Arab Ulamah have any part in this sacrilege? No. In fact it is a curse for the Arab Ulamah in general and for those in Musjidul Haraam in particular. One can imagine as to what kind of torture it must be for the honourable Arab Ulamah and for those in Musjidul Haraam, when the Ulamah knowing very well that it is the last day of Rumadahn as per their search for Helaal, are ordered to feast on that day. Why do the Ulamah not do anything about it? Due to Autocracy, the Ulamah have no power to refuse the order they receive from Riyadh. No matter how much sacrilegious it may be. Is it not a sacrilege of monumental scale to enforce a falsehood upon the holy Musjidul Haraam ? Should every Muslim everywhere in the world not oppose it? How can one know this fact to be true? By comparing the Shahahdah gathered from across the world available on the abovementioned websites with what they hear from Riyadh. We can also look above to the “Sighting possibility for Helaal for Shuwwahl 1432 A.H. in Makkah” and see that on Aug 29, 2011 there is no chance of Helaal being seen anywhere in and around Arabia or anywhere in Africa. But those with experience are speculating that the moonset just 4 minutes after sunset on this day, gives good enough excuse to the officials in Riyadh to declare the next day to be the first of Shuwwahl. So we must wait and see as to what the officials in Riyadh do. If they do as speculated, they will be ordering the celebration of the “Festival” of feasting on the last day of Rumadahn, celebrated many a times previously in Arabia. All those living in Asia, Africa, Europe and N. America who obey Lord Almighty for what He shows in the sky will be celebrating Eidulfitr on Wednesday Aug. 31, 2011 in their submission to the will of Lord Almighty. Allah is pleased with those who propagate the Truth. So propagating this Truth everywhere is to seek the pleasure of Allah. . JazahkAllah khairun wa shukrun.
